Our Silver Award project focused mainly on raising awareness of the Young-Williams Animal Center Foster Program so they can hopefully recruit more foster families and collect lots of supplies to help kittens. We did this by hosting a kitten shower with lots of fun activity stations and collecting food, litter, toys, and other supplies. The activity stations were fun for us and guests and gave Brownies the opportunity to earn their Pets Badge. We found out it is hard to get people to come to events during a pandemic, so we had a drive through option to drop off donations. We also developed Pets Badge resources for this web page and provided Pets Badge kits to a Brownie troop who completed them during a virtual troop meeting and then dropped off all the awesome boxes they decorated, beds and toys they made, and pet food and other donations.

• Community members, family, and friends who attended the kitten shower and generously contributed donations
